Wii Peripherals- Official vs. 3rd Party Sensor Bars

Continuing on with the Wii Peripherals run, I would like to point out that there are several useful 3rd party upgrades to what comes packaged with the Wii system. One particular upgrade is the Wii Wireless Sensor Bar by Nyko.  The Wireless Sensor Bar is fantastic, because it allows for Wii remote response for up to 25 feet away from the sensor. On top of that, it's compatible with your current sensor bar stand (if you didn't already loose the damned thing...). Its only downside is it consumes 4 AA batteries in a matter of hours if you do not remember to power off the device every time you are done. Another possible downside for some is that the bar is slightly intrusive lest you dedicate space around the whole bar. It's much bigger than the stock bar, so you may need to rearrange some of your home theater setup. This sensor bar is a perfect solution if you are on a budget and are looking to replace or upgrade your current Wii sensor bar.
